Chapter 7: Into the Huron Camp.

SUMMARY

The search continued and they decided to explore in groups. Uncas and Chigachgook went one way, Hawk-eye and Munro a second way and Heyward a third. They gave a bird call in order to warn the others. Then, Heyward saw someone and he made the sign. Later, when Hawk-eye arrived at Heyward´s side they realized that that person was Gamut, and the other went where Hawk-eye, Heyward and Gamut were. Gamut told the others where Alice and Cora were and they came up with a plan to rescue them. Gamut and heyward went to the Hurons´ hut. When they were talking with the Hurons, they saw that Uncas was prisoner. A woman, who was judging Uncas, threw her torch to the ground.

- My sister is afraid of beavers although she has never seen any.

- A large animal like a deer with big horns on its head.
- I dislike mooses, they are so ugly.

- An animal that is special to an Indian tribe.
- I don´t know what a totem was until I saw some images of them.

8. Wise. sabio. It is an adjective.
- Intelligent, clever.
- My science teacher is really wise, he knows a lot of things.

9. Trick: estafa. It is a noun.
- To tease someone in order to get his money.
- All the children were screaming: "Trick or treat!"
